B.HUG Membership

If you use or have used the services at B.HUG, or have an interest in homelessness services then we're looking for you! B.HUG is looking for people to become members.

B.HUG membership entitles you to the following:

To have a say in the development and running of B.HUG.
To receive regular and effective communication with regards to B.HUG activities.
To exercise your voting right at the AGM.
To be nominated to become a Trustee of B.HUG (unless you are disqualified from being a Trustee).
To receive reimbursement of travel and out of pocket expenses when attending a B.HUG activity.

What will I have to do as a member?

Attend Membership meetings (2 meetings per year).
Attend the Annual General Meeting AGM once a year.
Actively get involved and contribute to meetings, discussions and consultations.
Be committed to homelessness and social exclusion issues.
Follow the B.HUG membership procedure.
Pay membership fee. There is a membership fee of £0.50 to be paid once a year at the last membership meeting before the AGM. Membership fees formalises each member’s involvement with B.HUG.
